How do I know if there’s a minimum hire period on an item I have hired?
The minimum hire period is 1 week for Mobile/Static Welfare Units, two weeks for Serviceloos. All other items have a minimum four week hire period (excluding any site specific specialist units).
Am I responsible for the equipment whilst it is on hire?
Yes, you are responsible for safe-keeping of the equipment you hire. If you do not have insurance for hired equipment, you can add it to your household insurance for the hire period. Alternatively, we offer insurance against theft and damage at a rate of 15% of the hire rate (A-Guard insurance scheme).
